Electrolux Washer Extractor Error Code 07: Overfilled
Error code 07 means that during a wash program the drum filled above a preset level. Close the water supply if water is still coming in and call us, because the manual points to a blocked level hose, a defective filler valve or a filler control problem. Do not keep running a machine that is taking on too much water.
High: if the overfill is real, the machine can flood or run with too much water until the cause is fixed.

What does Electrolux Professional error code 07 mean?
While a wash program runs, the CPU board compares the water level from the level system with the preset level for that program. If the drum climbs past the preset level, the board stops the fill and shows ERROR 007 / OVERFILLED. The reading can be wrong in two ways. A filler valve that does not shut can really overfill the drum. A blocked level hose, or a drop of water inside it, can make the pressure reading look higher than the true water level. The manual lists both ideas along with a defective electronic filler control. Staff may see water standing higher than the program should hold, or a drum that looks normal while the control thinks it is overfilled.
Affected models and control systems
This applies to the W465H-W4300H, W475S-W4330S and W475N-W4330N washer-extractors, Type W3..., with the Compass Control. The preset level depends on the program.
Code numbers and their meaning can change between control generations. We match the full model and control before acting on a code.
What you may notice
- Display shows ERROR 007 / OVERFILLED
- Water higher in the drum than normal
- Water keeps coming in after the level is reached
- Program halts during a wash
Possible causes
Listed in Electrolux Professional's documentation
- Blocked level hose
- Water drops in the level tube
- Defective filler valve
- Defective electronic filler control
Other likely causes — what usually sits behind error code 07 on this control. A technician confirms which one it is before any part is replaced.
- Filler valve held open by scale or grit on its seat
- Level hose kinked or pinched behind the cabinet
- Foam from heavy detergent loading making the level reading rise
- Leaking drain valve letting the level rise while water runs in
Safe checks before calling for service
- If water is still entering, switch the machine off and close the water supply valves.
- Do not open the door while the drum holds water.
- Use the machine's drain function to let the water out before the next attempt.
- Note the program, how much water was visible and whether it kept rising, then call us.
How a technician diagnoses error code 07
- Read the code and the program step in which the level rose.
- Blow through the level hose and look for water drops or kinks.
- Check the level control and every water valve in the service program.
- Test the filler valve for leakage with the water off, and check the electronic filler control output.
- Replace the part that fails the test.
- Every water valve is controlled and tested through the service program with the machine's own data.
- Valve coils and the filler control run on line voltage inside the machine, so tests must be done with the machine isolated and open.
- An overfilled drum can flood the floor or damage the machine, so repeat running is not worth the risk.
How error code 07 differs from similar codes
Code 07 is a high level during a wash; code 06 reports water that will not leave at the end.

Is the drum really overfilled?
Sometimes. It can also be a level hose that reads wrong, so the check begins with the hose.
Can I keep washing if the water looks normal?
Not reliably. The control has seen a level above its preset and will likely stop again.
What does a filler valve have to do with it?
A valve that does not close keeps adding water, which the level system then catches as an overfill.
