Electrolux Washer Extractor Error Code 32: Motor Too Hot
Error code 32 means the motor winding temperature, worked out from winding resistance, averaged above the allowed maximum. Let the machine cool and check that the drum turns easily. If it returns, a technician should check the motor, its connectors and the motor control.

What does Electrolux Professional error code 32 mean?
The motor control does not have a thermometer inside the motor. It measures the winding resistance, which rises with temperature, and calculates the winding temperature from that. When the average goes above the maximum, for example 150 C, the motor control stops the motor and the CPU board shows ERROR 032 / MOTOR TOO HOT. Because the number is derived from resistance, a poor contact in the motor connectors or motor cable can look like a hot motor, and so can a problem in the motor control's measuring circuit. The manual lists a stiff drum with intensive use and high ambient temperature, sticking bearings or shorted windings, contact errors, and a failure in the temperature measurement itself. Staff see the machine stop after heavy use and run again later.
