The FB is the Beverage-Air bottom-mount freezer line, with numbers such as FB12HC-1S, FB19HC-1G and FB19HC-1S. Fifteen numbers are listed. The compressor and condenser sit below the freezer compartment, close to the floor.
Floor-level condensers pick up dust and flour. A freezer on a dirty condenser runs hot and long, and frost forms quickly. We clean the coil first, then check the gaskets, the defrost and the fans. The control may be a Danfoss or an Eliwell, and the alarm wording differs.

A dirty condenser or a leaking gasket makes it work harder. We clean the coil and check the seals. We test the door seal and the fans too.
Does a bottom-mount need more cleaning?
Often yes, because the condenser is near floor dust. A monthly brushing helps. Floor dust clogs the fins, so brushing the coil each month keeps the freezer running cold and quiet, and it adds years to the life of the compressor.
How do I know the controller type?
Look at the alarm wording. Hi and Lo are Danfoss, AH1 and AL1 are Eliwell. Photographing the display and sending it to us helps us confirm which control you have before the visit.
