Why is my worktop freezer icing up?
Humid air through a worn gasket is the usual cause. We replace the gasket and check the defrost. A tired door seal on a long cabinet is the usual cause.
Does the work surface get cold?
The top stays near room temperature. Any condensation on it suggests an issue we should look at, such as a leaking seal or a failed door heater.
