CoreLink is an electronic case controller that connects to the E2 store controller. It manages temperature and defrost for the case and reports back to the store system. It handles setup and integration with the store system rather than carrying its own list of case alarm codes.
When a case with CoreLink runs warm or defrosts oddly, the cause may be the case, the controller settings or the connection to the store system. A controller can be set up correctly and still fail to communicate if a connection is loose or a probe is bad.
We check the case side first, with loading, airflow and defrost, then the probes and the controller settings, and we coordinate with whoever manages the store system when the cause lies there.

Does it have its own codes?
The controller does not come with its own list of case alarm codes. If your display shows a message, tell us exactly what it says and we work from that.
Who changes the settings?
Settings are for a technician or the store system manager. Wrong settings affect defrost and temperature, so we adjust them carefully and explain the change to you.
