On Hoshizaki KM and KMH E control boards, the orange H TIMER LED comes on with the 2-beep harvest backup timer alarm, and the yellow F TIMER LED comes on with the 3-beep freeze timer alarm. The machine is shut down. With power on, press ALARM RESET once the cause is fixed.

What does Hoshizaki Orange H TIMER LED on / Yellow F TIMER LED on mean?

These two LEDs tell you which timer alarm stopped the machine. The orange H TIMER LED lights together with the two-beep harvest backup timer alarm, meaning harvest took too long. The yellow F TIMER LED lights together with the three-beep freeze timer alarm, meaning the freeze cycle took too long. In both cases the machine is shut down until the alarm is reset. The manual lists the LEDs only for the E control board, and its table for the G board has no LED mention, so a G board machine may beep without either light. The reset is the ALARM RESET button, pressed with power on, but only after the cause has been found and fixed. Without that, the timer trips again after the next two long cycles. The LED is useful as a quick read: orange points to harvest and the hot gas side, yellow points to freezing, water and the refrigeration side.
