Repairs this series usually needs

- Convection fan and drive errors
- Temperature probe circuits
- Gas ignition and blower speed
- Control board temperature
The Combitherm CT PROformance, written CTP, and the CT Classic, written CTC, are Alto-Shaam combi ovens in countertop and roll-in sizes. Each can be electric, gas or an EB steam generator version. The CTP has the PROtouch control and the CTC has the manual Classic control.
Read the model on the oven: CTP or CTC, then the pan size such as 10-20, then E or G. The roll-in ovens have two cavities with an upper and a lower fan. Calls we see start with steam generator water level, a fan or its drive, a probe circuit, or gas ignition. Error codes begin with E and a number.
Many of these ovens are out of warranty. We repair them and say plainly when a repair is not worth it.

What is the difference between a CTP and a CTC?
The CTP has the PROtouch control and the CTC has the manual Classic control. The cooking sections are similar, and the error codes follow the same E-number list.
Why do the roll-in models show two fan codes?
A roll-in oven has an upper and a lower fan, each with its own drive. A code for the lower one tells us which half has the problem, which saves time on site.
How do I tell E, G and EB apart?
E is boiler-free electric, G is gas, and EB uses a steam generator. The letters are at the end of the model. Gas ovens also have a gas connection.
