The Platinum gas line covers the AGP55, AGP55T, AGP60W and AGP75, large fryers from 55 to 75 lb. You will find the AGP model on the data plate. The control is a computer, a digital panel or a solid-state backup.
If an AGP will not light, we check the ignition sequence, the gas valve, the high limit and the temperature probe. Slow recovery sends us to the burner tubes and the gas pressure. In a kitchen, grease and humidity in the control area also cause odd behavior, so we look at that too.

The AGP75 is the largest in the line, followed by the AGP60W and the AGP55 models. The data plate shows your exact model, and we use it to confirm the right parts before we visit.
My AGP clicks but never lights. What can I do?
Make sure the gas shut-off is open and the drain valve is fully closed. If it still clicks without lighting, call us. Never ignore a gas smell; leave the building and call the gas utility.
Do you repair the solid-state backup control?
Yes. We test the probe and the control, tell you which part is the cause, and quote the work in writing before we start. Older units get the same careful look as newer ones.
