The PS520 is an older Middleby Marshall conveyor oven. The PS520G is the gas version and the PS520E the electric, and the number is on the data plate. The digital temperature controller shows ALM 1 as a high-limit indication when the oven reaches 650 F, and the burner shuts down by itself.
For a PS520 that will not heat, we check the gas supply and the burner, and whether the oven reached 200 F within 15 minutes of startup, since a failed startup stops the heat. A belt that will not move may be waiting for the oven to reach temperature or may be jammed. Little or no air from the fingers often means they were reassembled wrong after cleaning.
These older ovens stay on our repair list, and we say so when one is not worth fixing.

It is the high-limit indication at 650 F. The burner shuts down on its own. Follow the Daily Shutdown steps and call us so we can find out why it overheated.
Why is there little air from the fingers?
Fingers put back together wrong after cleaning are a frequent cause of weak air. We check each finger against its position, and we also confirm that the blower itself is working properly.
Can an older PS520 still be repaired?
Yes. It is an older line still in service. Our price is written before work, and we speak plainly if the oven has outlived repair.
