Repairs this series usually needs
- Oven will not heat
- Conveyor will not move
- Little air from the fingers
- Uneven bake
The PS536 is an older Middleby Marshall conveyor oven sold as the PS536, the PS536GS for gas and the PS536ES for electric. The model is on the data plate. It shares the conveyor design of the other PS ovens, with a belt that moves product through the baking chamber and fingers that direct the air.
A PS536 that stays cold gets its gas supply and burner checked on the GS, or its elements and contactors on the ES. A belt that will not move leads us to the drive and the motor. Fingers put back wrongly after cleaning cut the air and bake unevenly, so we check them early.
Older PS536 ovens are on our repair list. The price arrives in writing first, and a repair that is not worth doing gets said out loud.

GS marks the gas version and ES the electric version. A plain PS536 is also on the data plate, so read the full number so we bring the right parts.
Why does my PS536 bake unevenly?
Fingers installed wrong after cleaning are a common cause, and so are a weak blower or dirty burner. We check the fingers and airflow first.
Is a PS536 worth repairing?
Often yes, since the oven body and conveyor last for years. You see the price first, then we tell you whether fixing the oven is a sound choice.
