Repairs this series usually needs
- Oven will not heat
- Conveyor will not move
- Little air from the fingers
- Uneven bake
The PS540 is an older Middleby Marshall conveyor oven made in gas and electric versions: the PS540G and PS540GS for gas and the PS540E for electric. The model is printed on the data plate, and we use it to confirm which parts your oven takes.
For a PS540 that will not heat, we check the gas supply, the burner and the controls on the gas models, and the elements and contactors on the electric. A conveyor that will not move leads us to the drive. If the oven bakes unevenly, we check the fingers and the blower, since small mistakes in reassembly change how the air reaches the product.
We repair older PS540 ovens and speak up when a repair makes no sense.

Both are gas models. The extra letters mark a version difference. Give us the whole number from the data plate and we will match the parts to your oven.
My PS540 belt will not move. Why?
The belt may be jammed, the drive or motor may be at issue, or the oven may not be up to temperature. We check each in order.
