The Newco CB series is the Commercial Barista brewer line, with models listed as CB, Dual, CB-2, CB-5 and CB-7. These are older brewers, and many still run in cafes and offices.
The model on the data plate tells us the capacity and the parts to bring. When a CB brewer will not fill or heat, we look at the water supply and tank for leaks first, then the probe and the heating element.
Hard water scales the tank over the years, so we descale as part of many repairs. If an older CB brewer would cost more to fix than it is worth, we say so. Have the data plate model ready, and we check the parts and the capacity first.

Why does my CB brewer heat slowly?
Scale on the heater and probe is a common cause. Check that the water filter is not overdue, and call us to schedule service so we can descale and test.
Is my CB brewer worth repairing?
Often, if the tank and heater are sound. We quote in writing, and when the repair would cost more than the brewer is worth, we say so, so you can decide on a replacement.
