The Linea Classic is the machine that came before the Linea PB, and a great many are still working in cafes and restaurants. They are well-built, older traditional machines, and with the right care they keep pulling shots for years.
The jobs we see are the wear items of any older machine: gaskets at the group heads, valve leaks at the steam wand, scale in the boilers and a pump that has lost pressure. Because it is an older machine, we look over the wiring and connectors for wear too.
On an older Classic we sort the repairs worth doing from the ones that are not, and we say which is which. Boiler and valve work stays with us; owners handle the filter and cleaning.
