Jade Titan and Bistro Lines
Jade ranges are built for heavy use. The current Titan line includes the JTRH ranges, the JTRHE step-up version and the JMRH modular units, with open burners, manual and thermostatic griddles, hot tops, French tops, planchas and charbroilers on top. The ovens are either standard or convection. Jade Bistro cook tops, bases and countertop units are a lighter line, and we also work on the older Titan models sold as JGTR and JGT.
Standing Pilots and Electronic Re-Igniters
The standard oven has a thermostat and a standing pilot, and the top has pilots of its own. The convection oven uses an electronic re-igniter instead of a standing pilot. A gas odor in the kitchen means you leave first and call the gas utility from outside. Otherwise, when an oven pilot is out, we check gas pressure, clean the pilot and test the safety parts. If the convection oven does not relight, we test the re-igniter and its supply.
Grease buildup and poor ventilation are hard on pilots, because heavy smoke and drafts blow them out. We look at the hood draw and the kitchen layout when the same range goes out again and again. An oven that runs hot or cold is a thermostat calibration job. Griddles and hot tops that heat unevenly get a burner and plate inspection.

We repair older Jade ranges and say plainly when they are past a sensible repair. Our work has a 30-day workmanship warranty.

Why won't the pilot on my Jade oven stay lit?
Grease, drafts from the hood, low gas pressure or a weak safety part can all put it out. We check each one and relight only after the cause is fixed.
What is the difference between a JTRH and a JTRHE?
JTRH is the Titan range, and JTRHE is the step-up version of it. Read us the whole model number from the data plate and we plan the parts before we come.
Do you repair older Jade Titan ranges?
Yes. The JGTR and JGT models are older ranges still in service. We repair them, and we say plainly when the cost is not worth it for the age of the range.
