Vulcan Commercial Range Repair
We repair Vulcan gas restaurant ranges in Miami, Los Angeles, Houston, New York and San Diego, including V Series heavy-duty ranges and the Endurance line. Older ranges that still cook well are worth saving, and we tell you when one is not.
Common Vulcan ranges problems
In plain words, the way kitchen and laundry staff describe them when they call.
Pilot will not stay lit
One burner lights unevenly
Flames are yellow or weak
Oven temperature does not match the dial
Oven burner will not light
Vulcan V Series ranges are heavy-duty gas ranges, with models such as the V24, V36, V60 and V260, and the Endurance ranges are the current restaurant line. Many V Series ranges we visit have worked in kitchens for a long time, and most calls come down to pilots, burners and ovens.
When a pilot will not stay lit, we check the pilot flame, the gas supply and the safety valve. Uneven or yellow burner flames usually mean clogged ports or a poor air-and-gas mixture, so we clean and adjust before suggesting parts. If the oven temperature is off, we measure the real temperature in the cavity and compare it with the thermostat setting before touching the valve.
Grease and moisture are the enemies of a range, and burner ports can foul within weeks on a busy line. If you smell gas at any time, leave the kitchen and call the gas utility from outside before you call us. Parts are confirmed before we arrive, the price is written before the repair, and a 30-day warranty on our work is included.

Why won't the pilot on my Vulcan range stay lit?
A weak pilot flame, a dirty pilot, or a safety valve that will not hold open can be the cause. We check each in turn and give you a written price before any part is replaced.
How do I know if my Vulcan range oven thermostat is off?
If food bakes faster or slower than the dial suggests, the thermostat may have drifted. We put a thermometer in the oven and compare it with the setting, then adjust or replace.
Do you repair older Vulcan V Series ranges?
