What does Electrolux Professional error code 51 mean?
The DLCU receives its commands from the CPU board, and each message carries a checksum so it can check the data arrived intact. If the checksum does not match, the DLCU shows ERROR 051 / CHECKSUM FROM CPU. The manual says the DLCU resets itself when the error clears, so one bad message does not leave it stuck. The one cause it lists is strong interference from surrounding equipment, such as large motors, welders or poorly shielded cabling near the machine. The action is in three steps. Reset the error codes. If they return, remove the interference source nearby. If that does not help, try a different CPU board.
