What does Electrolux Professional error code 82 mean?
A drying program that stops itself, an Autostop program, has a time limit so that it cannot run for ever if the load never reaches the finish condition. If the maximum allowable Autostop time passes before the program ends, the dryer program unit stops it and shows ERROR 082 / DRYING ERROR AUTOSTOP PR. The manual says this applies to non-coin-operated models only, and gives the Selecta II code as E 12. It lists no causes and refers the technician to the Selecta II service manual. As with the other time-limit messages, the practical meaning is that the load did not dry in the time allowed, so airflow, heat and sensing are the places a technician looks.
