What does Eversys error code W-013 mean?
The Cameo keeps a count of the products it has made and a service date, and it compares them with set limits. When either is reached, the control shows W-013 as a maintenance reminder. It is not a sign that something just broke, and nothing in the message points to a particular part. Drinks usually carry on as normal, so many sites leave the reminder on screen for weeks. That is where the trouble starts, because the interval exists to replace wear parts before they fail and to check parts that cannot be judged by eye, such as the brewing unit, the grinders and the seals. A machine in daily use also collects scale and coffee oil that only a full service clears. The water filter and descaling status are usually checked at the same visit. The control cannot tell us which part is due, only that the interval has been reached, so the visit follows the maintenance list for that product count. Booking early gives us room to order wear parts and avoids a breakdown in the middle of a busy week. The display text for this message is W-013.

How a technician diagnoses error code W-013
- Read the product counter and service date against the maintenance schedule.
- Inspect wear parts listed for that interval.
- Check grinders, brewing unit and seals for wear.
- Service the water path and descale as needed.
- Replace the parts that are due and reset the service counter.
- Test drink quality and temperatures after the service.
- The service replaces wear parts inside the brewing unit and grinders, which need the panels off and the power isolated.
- Judging wear on seals, burrs and pistons takes training and the maker's service list.
- Resetting the reminder is done after the work, and doing it earlier just hides a real need.
