Cissell OPL Dryer Error Code EI05: Out-of-Range Data
EI05 means infrared data arrived invalid or out of range, and the control discarded it. Heat and drum drive are not involved and the dryer keeps its functions. Switch it off at the disconnect, wait a minute, switch it back on, and note which device or tool was in use when EI05 appeared.

What does Cissell error code EI05 mean?
When a value is sent to a Cissell OPL dryer, such as the CT025L, over its infrared link, the control checks it against the range the dryer can accept. A temperature, a time or a count has limits, and anything beyond them cannot be used. If the control reads a value outside that range, or data that is not valid at all, it throws it away and shows EI05. Staff see the message after a setting or data transfer that did not take. The dryer keeps working with the settings it had before. The message is useful as a clue about the sender: the value being sent, the device that sends it, the quality of the link that might have garbled it, or the control's memory and setup. A single EI05 after typing a value wrongly in a device is expected. If it repeats with values you know are right, the link or the control needs a look.
