Cissell Dryer Models We Repair
Cissell dryers on our schedule include the CT, CA, CK and CU 25 to 35 pound models in gas and electric versions with an electronic control. We also work on the large CA, CT and CU 120 and 170 pound gas and steam dryers, the CHD and CT 30 to 75 pound machines and the older CD and CES series. The model number on the label, such as a CT120N, tells us which control and parts apply.
Lint, Limits and Ignition
Lint is the main problem. An airflow switch error means the dryer is not moving enough air, and the cause is almost always a clogged screen, a crushed duct or a restricted outside hood. Humid air in Miami and Houston packs lint tighter and makes the exhaust path worse faster. A stove or cabinet limit that trips has the same story.
A shorted or open thermistor stops the dryer until the sensor circuit is repaired, so we test the sensor and connector. A No Flame or E HEAt message sends us to the ignition and gas valve. A drum that does not turn sends us to the belt and the rotation sensor, and a fan motor error leads to the contactor and centrifugal switch.
The gas supply comes off before we touch a burner. Many Cissell dryers are older, and we tell you plainly when a repair is not worth it. You get a written price first, and the work is warranted for 30 days.

It is not moving enough air. Clean the lint screen and check the outside vent. If the error returns, we inspect the duct, the switch and the fan and tell you what we find.
Do you repair older Cissell dryers like the CD series?
Yes, including the CD and CES lines. We confirm which parts are available from the model number before we visit, and we say plainly when a repair makes less sense than a replacement.
What does E HEAt mean?
The dryer did not reach temperature, which points to the ignition, the gas valve or the heat source. Make sure the gas supply valve is open. If it repeats, call us.
