Cissell OPL Dryer Error Code EI0C: Infrared Time-Out Exceeded

What does Cissell error code EI0C mean?

A Cissell OPL dryer such as the CT025L does not wait forever for an infrared exchange. When one starts, the control allows a fixed amount of time for it to finish, from the first message to the last. If the exchange is slow, because the beam is repeatedly interrupted or the device keeps retrying, and the time runs out, the control abandons the attempt and shows EI0C. This differs from EI02, where a single reply never arrives. EI0C describes an exchange that did start and make progress but ran too long. It points to a slow or interrupted link: a device held unsteadily, a window that blocks part of the beam, a receiver in poor condition or unstable wiring and power. The code is about communication, not heat, airflow or drum movement, so any load in the drum is normally unaffected. The visit can be planned for a convenient time.
