What does Eversys error code E-098 mean?

A machine with several displays and a CPU only works if every part runs compatible software. When the display finds that its software does not match the CPU or another display, it asks for an update with the message Please start software update, code E-098. The machine will not start normal service until the software is brought back in line, and until the versions agree, the display stays on that prompt.
