Eversys Coffee Machine Error Code E-105: Boiler Connector Missing
E-105 shows Steam boiler connector missing, meaning the control cannot see the connector of the steam boiler. Stop using steam and hot water, and restart once after ten seconds off. If the message returns, leave the machine off and call us.
High: the control will not heat the boiler until the connection is detected, so steam and hot water are out of service.

What does Eversys error code E-105 mean?
Before the control heats the steam boiler, it needs to know the boiler is actually wired to it. It looks for the boiler connector, and when that connection is not detected it refuses to heat and shows Steam boiler connector missing, which appears on the display as E-105. The rule makes sense: powering a heater that cannot be monitored would leave the boiler without its temperature and pressure feedback. The control therefore treats a missing connector as a reason to withhold heating rather than guess. What staff see is a loss of steam and often hot water. Nothing about the message says a part has burned out. A connector that has worked loose from repeated heat cycles, a damp or steam-coated contact, or a wiring break between the boiler and the board can all produce the same line on the display. A quick restart sometimes passes because the contact briefly makes again, which is why a clear after restart does not prove the problem is gone. The message is a connection check, so the connector and wiring are where a technician starts.
Affected models and control systems
This applies to Eversys Cameo and Enigma / Shotmaster machines that display E-xxx error messages. Machines on other message families or other Eversys generations may word boiler detection differently.
Code numbers and their meaning can change between control generations. We match the full model and control before acting on a code.
What you may notice
- Steam wand is dead
- Hot water is unavailable or limited
- E-105 appears right after power-up
- The message may disappear after a restart and come back later
Possible causes
Listed in Eversys's documentation
- Steam boiler connector loose or not seated
- Broken wiring to the boiler sensors and heater
- Failed board input for the steam boiler
- Moisture or steam residue on the connector
Other likely causes — what usually sits behind error code E-105 on this control. A technician confirms which one it is before any part is replaced.
- Connector pins that have darkened from repeated heating and cooling
- A harness that was pulled slightly during a deep clean of the machine
Safe checks before calling for service
- Do not use the steam wand or hot water while the message is showing.
- After ten seconds with the main switch off, switch it back on and watch the display.
- If E-105 returns, leave the machine off and call us.
- Do not open any panel, because the boiler area stays hot after use. Note whether the message came back at once or after the machine warmed.
How a technician diagnoses error code E-105
- Let the machine cool, then isolate power before touching any boiler wiring.
- Inspect the boiler connector for seating, discoloration and residue.
- Check continuity of the harness between the boiler and the board with a meter.
- Verify the board input that detects the boiler is receiving its signal.
- Clean or replace the connector and pins, and repair the harness if a break is found.
- Power up, confirm E-105 is gone and that the boiler heats to normal pressure.
- The boiler connector sits in a hot area next to mains-powered heater wiring, so it cannot be handled live.
- Continuity testing the harness needs the panels off and the power isolated.
- A connector that looks seated can still be corroded inside, which takes a meter and a close inspection to find.

Why does the machine refuse to heat with E-105?
The control cannot see the steam boiler connector, so it will not heat a boiler it cannot monitor. That is a protective choice, not a random stop.
It cleared after a restart. Am I done?
Not necessarily. A marginal connector can make contact again for a while, so if E-105 returned once it is worth having the connector looked at.
Can I keep making coffee?
Possibly, but steam and hot water are lost. Switch the machine off if the message stays.
