Eversys Coffee Machine Error Code S-107: Security Probe Problem

What does Eversys error code S-107 mean?

The steam boiler has a security probe, a safety input the control watches before it will heat. The probe circuit has to be complete for the control to allow heating. If the circuit is open, the control cannot confirm that the boiler is safe, so it disables steam and hot water, switches heating off and displays S-107. Staff lose steam and hot water, and the machine will not heat until the circuit is restored. The probe protects the boiler, which is why the control will not work around it. An open circuit can come from the probe itself, from its wiring, from the plug, or from the board input that reads the circuit. In hard water, scale can also build up on the probe and change what it reads. The display cannot separate these, so a technician tests the circuit section by section. The boiler area is hot and carries mains power, which is why the owner's guide gives operators only one restart and no panel work. A returning S-107 means the machine stays off until it has been tested. The display shows S-107.
