What does Eversys error code W-016 mean?
The Cameo reads a pressure sensor in its water circuit so that it knows what pressure the pump and the supply are producing. If the signal is missing, jumps around or does not make sense, the control cannot trust it and shows W-016. It does not know the real pressure in the water circuit, but because the message is a warning, the machine is normally still usable meanwhile. Drinks may still be made. The sensor and its cable are the first things we check, since a cable that has chafed or a connector that has worked loose gives an unreliable reading as readily as a dead sensor. The board input that receives the signal can also be the cause. There is one more possibility that sits outside the machine: the water pressure itself may be unstable, so the sensor is correct and the supply is not. That is why a steady supply is the first thing to check. Noting whether the warning appears at once or after some time helps tell a loose connection from a sensor that fails when warm. The display text is W-016.
