What does Varimixer error code 01 mean?
The ERGO mixers will not turn the agitator unless the bowl is up at its working height, because a lowered bowl leaves the beater and the work area open. When you press Start with the bowl down, the control checks the bowl position, finds it is not at working height, and shows 01 on the touch display instead of starting. This is a start-condition check, not a measurement of the motor or the drive. Nothing needs to be repaired for it to appear, and nothing is damaged. The manual's single response is to raise the bowl to working height. The code is the mixer's way of telling you that its position check is not satisfied yet. It becomes a service matter only when the bowl is clearly at working height and 01 still appears, because then the position sensing or the lift is the question.
