Varimixer Planetary Mixer Repair
We repair Varimixer planetary mixers, from the AR and ERGO series to older KODIAK, TEDDY and RN machines, in Miami, Los Angeles, Houston, New York and San Diego. Give us the model and the message on the display and we bring the right parts.
Common Varimixer problems we fix
In plain words, the way kitchen and laundry staff describe them when they call.
Display shows 03, bowl not detected
Start button does nothing
OL01 to OL03 overload message
EE:04 after a long heavy batch
Bowl will not lift
EE:09 or EE:10 voltage message
Varimixer Series We Repair
Varimixer’s AR series covers planetary mixers from 30 to 200 liters, and the ERGO series, the ERGO60, ERGO100, ERGO140 and ERGO150, adds a touch display and a frequency inverter. Smaller machines include the KODIAK10, KODIAK20 and KODIAK30. Older TEDDY 5L bench mixers and RN10 and RN20 machines still work in bakeries and restaurant kitchens, and we repair those as well.
Reading the ERGO Display
The ERGO100 and ERGO150 show numbered messages. A 02 means the mixer was started without the bowl guard fitted, and a 01 means the bowl was not raised to working height. A 03 says the bowl sensor does not see the bowl, so the first check is whether the bowl is seated against it. OL01, OL02 and OL03 are continuous, periodic and blocked overload messages, and they tend to appear on heavy dough.
EE:04 is the motor thermal sensor, usually after a long heavy batch. EE:05 is the lift motor overload, and EE:15 tells you the two lift buttons were not pressed within one second of each other. EE:06 and EE:07 point to the frequency inverter, while EE:09 and EE:10 mean the supply voltage is too low or too high. EE:08 is an inverter that got too hot and needs to cool.
The older mechanical models have no display, so we work through the guard switch, the motor and the drive. We say plainly when an older machine is not worth the repair, and we give you a written price and a 30-day warranty.

It means the inductive sensor does not detect the bowl. Check that the bowl is seated fully against the sensor. If the message stays, we test the sensor and its wiring before quoting a price.
Why does my Varimixer show OL01 or OL03?
These are overload messages: OL01 for continuous overload, OL02 for periodic and OL03 for a blocked mixer. Heavy dough is common, but we also test the motor and the inverter.
Do you repair older Varimixer models like the KODIAK or RN?
Yes. We service KODIAK, TEDDY and RN machines along with the AR and ERGO series. Where an old machine has reached the end of its life, we say so up front.
