Wascomat Coin Laundry Washer Error Code 07: Overfilled
Code 07 on a coin-operated Wascomat washer means the drum filled above a predetermined level. Shut off the water supply and take the washer out of service. A technician should check the level hose, the filler valve and the filler control.
High: an overfilling washer can leak or flood, and it stops until the cause is fixed.

What does Wascomat error code 07 mean?
In a laundromat an overfilling washer can flood the floor while no one is watching, so the control checks the water level against a preset limit throughout the program. When the drum fills above that level, the Compass control stops the cycle and shows ERROR 007 / OVERFILLED. The manual lists four causes. A blocked level hose and drops of water in the level tube give the control a false picture of the level. A defective filler valve that does not close fully lets in more water than commanded, and a defective electronic filler control does the same. The steps are to blow through the level hose and to check the level control and all water valves in the service program. Coin-operated machines have a second, mechanical level control that produces code 09 if water goes higher still.

Code numbers and their meaning can change between control generations. We match the full model and control before acting on a code.
What you may notice
- ERROR 007 / OVERFILLED appears and the cycle stops
- The water level behind the door glass looks too high
- Water is still entering after the machine stops
- Water leaks around the door seal
Possible causes
Listed in Wascomat's documentation
- Blocked level hose
- Drops of water in the level tube
- Defective filler valve
- Defective electronic filler control
Other likely causes — what usually sits behind error code 07 on this control. A technician confirms which one it is before any part is replaced.
- Sediment in the building water supply that holds the filler valve slightly open
- A level hose pinched by a recent service panel or shifted drum assembly
Safe checks before calling for service
- Close the water supply valves behind the washer and switch the machine off.
- Do not open the door while the drum is full.
- Check the floor for water and keep customers back from the area.
- Put an out-of-service sign on the washer and tell us whether code 09 also appeared.
How a technician diagnoses error code 07
- Read the code and history, and check for a following code 09.
- Blow through the level hose to clear water drops and blockages.
- Check the level control in the service program.
- Test the filler valves for sealing completely.
- Check the electronic filler control and its wiring.
- Replace the failed part and test a full fill.
- A valve that will not close can flood the laundry, so the supply is shut first.
- Valve and control testing involves mains voltage behind the panels.
- Level checks use the service program, not guesses.
How error code 07 differs from similar codes
Code 09 DRUM OVERFILLED on coin-operated machines comes from a mechanical level control that trips above the point where code 07 should have acted.

Should I mop up and keep running?
No. Find out why the machine overfilled first, since it can do it again.
Can customers use the other washers?
Yes, unless they share the same supply valve and the problem is in the building supply.
What if I only see code 07 once?
A single event may be water drops in the level tube, but a repeat means the valve or the control needs testing.
