- Condenser dust
The M3F is the Turbo Air M3 Series upright reach-in freezer. Plate numbers such as M3F19-1-N and M3F24-1-N give the width and door count, and seven numbers are in this line. The controller uses an F-sensor and offers a Turbo Freeze function that speeds up recovery.
A freezer shows trouble as frost. If the coil ices over, the defrost may not be ending or the gasket may be letting humid air in. We test the defrost sensor and heater, then the door seal, then the condenser. The compressor waits about three minutes after a power loss, so give it time before you worry.
Keep the plate number handy and we bring the right heater and gasket. We recheck the freezer after the repair through one defrost to be sure the heater and sensor finish the cycle properly.

It speeds up freezing after a restock. If you rely on it all the time, the freezer may be losing capacity, and we check the condenser and defrost.
Why does frost build up so quickly?
Humid air enters through a worn gasket and freezes on the coil. A defrost that does not finish makes it worse. A dirty condenser makes it worse.
The freezer seems dead after a power outage. Is it?
It may be waiting. The compressor holds off about three minutes after power returns. If it does not start after that, call us. We check the supply voltage as well.
