Turbo Air Commercial Freezer Repair
We repair Turbo Air M3F, PRO, TSF Super Deluxe and J-Series reach-in freezers in Miami, Los Angeles, Houston, New York and San Diego. We diagnose first, quote in writing, and tell you plainly if an older freezer is not worth fixing.
Common Turbo Air reach-in freezers problems
In plain words, the way kitchen and laundry staff describe them when they call.
Freezer warm and compressor never stopping
Frost covering the evaporator
Defrost not terminating
Display showing Hi or Lo
Water at the base of the freezer
Our Turbo Air freezer work covers M3F reach-in freezers, PRO freezers marked with an F, TSF Super Deluxe freezers, and the TUF, JUF, MUF and EUF series. The M3 and PRO freezers have a Turbo Freeze button, and the TSF has an 88 LED freezer controller.
TSF defrost intervals can be set to 6, 8, 10 or 12 hours. If defrost never starts or never ends, frost builds on the coil and the freezer warms up. The D-sensor codes D1 and F3 are the first thing we read. To test quickly, a manual defrost on the TSF starts when you hold the defrost button for five seconds.
Moisture enters the cabinet every time the door opens, so a worn gasket turns into thick frost fast, and humid coastal air makes it quicker. We replace tired seals, clean the condenser and verify that the drain carries water away. After an outage, remember the compressor delay of three minutes before it comes back. If the freezer is still warm after that, call us and keep the door closed to protect the food.

They are defrost sensor codes on TSR and TSF cabinets. They point to a sensor or defrost problem, and we test the sensor and the heater.
How long should I wait for a Turbo Air freezer to restart?
Give it at least three minutes after power returns. If it still does not start, keep the door closed and call us.
What is the Turbo Freeze button?
On M3 and PRO freezers it pulls the temperature down faster after loading. If it does not seem to help, the condenser or the controller may need a check.
