WMF Automatic Coffee Machine Error Code 9679: Right Grinder Jam

What does WMF error code 9679 mean?

The manual lists two codes for the right grinder, 9678 and 9679, and both end in the same place: the grinder cannot turn, drinks from that side stop, and the machine ignores the grinder until the block is removed. On the display you will see 9679, and the owner's manual sends you to the same steps as for 9678. The thing that matters in practice is that a different number does not mean a different repair. A hard object in the beans, beans packed together, a grind set too fine or worn burrs and motor are the possibilities. If 9679 shows up after you have already cleared the right grinder once, it suggests the first attempt did not remove everything, or that the burrs are worn enough to catch again. Clearing the hopper and a coarser grind setting are the first things to try.

6. Replace worn burrs or the motor only after the readings.
