Besides the pulse and disable pins, the door lock circuit of a UniMac QN washer-extractor uses a relay that powers the lock solenoid. The input and output board switches that relay through its own pin. Eio 32 is raised when that pin fails its hardware check. Once the pin fails, the board cannot count on the relay to hold the door shut during a batch, so the control stops the machine and the display keeps the code.
