UniMac Industrial Washer Water Leak Detected: Message at Cycle End
Water Leak Detected means the control found a water leak detection error during a cycle. The message is shown at the end of the cycle on the Unlock Door Menu and added to the queue of the last 8 errors. The manual describes only the display and logging.

What does UniMac Water Leak Detected mean?
The control watches for a leak signal while a cycle runs. If it finds one, it does not interrupt the wash. Instead, at the end of the cycle the message Water Leak Detected is shown on the Unlock Door Menu, and the event is added to the queue of the last 8 errors. During diagnostic tests the display shows FAIL for the leak input. The manual says nothing about the cause or a remedy, so what follows comes from the message itself: something wet is being reported, and it should be looked at in person. That could be water around the machine from a hose, a fitting, a door seal or the drain. It could also be a leak sensor that is wet from splashing or condensation, which does not mean a leak at all.
Affected models and control systems
UniMac UniLinc control on the UW35TV, UW60TV, UW80TV, UW100TV, UW125TV and UW150TV washer-extractors and the UWL, UWN and UWU 035-150 T3 models.
Code numbers and their meaning can change between control generations. We match the full model and control before acting on a code.

- Tell the technician what you found and what the last 8 errors list shows.
How a technician diagnoses Water Leak Detected
- Read the last 8 error queue.
- Inspect hoses, valves, fittings, seal and drain for leaks.

- Repair the leak or replace the sensor and confirm the message stays away.
- Water near the electrical section is a shock hazard.
- The leak source can be inside the cabinet.

How Water Leak Detected differs from similar codes
