Repairs this series usually needs
- No wash because of the OFF-ON-FILL switch, wash relay or door switch
- Machine not filling or filling continuously
- Chemical sanitizer low
- Lime scale
- Leaks at the door or drain
The Conserver XL family covers chemical-sanitizing door-type machines: the XL-E, XL-E-LTH with its booster, the tall XL HH and the dual-rack XL2. Older Conserver machines share many parts. The data plate gives the model.
These use an electromechanical timer with top-mounted controls. When the pump does not run, we check the OFF-ON-FILL switch, the wash relay and the door switch. When it will not fill or keeps filling, we look at the fill solenoid and the drain ball seating. Low sanitizer is a canister, line or pump check.
Wear the gloves the chemical maker calls for, and never bypass the pump. These machines are common in smaller restaurants, and their simple controls make repairs straightforward. Tell us what the machine does and what the canister shows, and we come prepared.

The XL2 is the dual-rack machine and the data plate says so. The XL-E is a single-rack door-type. We confirm parts by the model on the plate.
Why does the machine keep filling?
A fill solenoid that does not close or a drain ball that does not seat can do it. Shut the water off and call us.
Do you repair older Conserver machines?
Yes. Older Conserver XL units are still in service, and we repair them with a written price first. You get a written price first, and we say plainly if a repair is not worth it.
