Find yours on the data plate. Letters after the base number usually mark the voltage, finish or door and do not change the repair.
- DishStar LT
- DishStar LTH
Repairs this series usually needs
- Chemical level low or pump not priming
- Tank not filling or draining
- Sustaining heater not working on the LTH
- Door switch problems
- Cloudy glasses from hardness
The DishStar LT is Jackson’s chemical-sanitizing undercounter, and the LTH adds a sustaining heater to keep the wash warm. They run on 115 volts and use a universal timer, so most trouble is mechanical or in the chemical feed.
When a DishStar LT does not sanitize, we look at the chemical canister and pump first, then the fill, drain and door switch. On the LTH we test the sustaining heater. Hard water leaves scale and cloudy glassware, and we advise on a delime routine.
Wear the gloves and eye protection the chemical maker calls for when you change canisters. We never bypass a chemical pump. Because the timer and the chemical feed are simple, many repairs finish in one visit. Tell us which canister is low and what the machine did last, and we arrive prepared. Keep the data plate model handy too.

Look at the data plate. LTH is the model with the sustaining heater. The plate name decides which parts we bring. LTH adds a heater, so it needs different tests than the plain LT.
The sanitizer seems weak. What do I check?
Check that the canister is not empty and the line is in the product. If the pump will not prime, call us. Do not bypass it.
Is the DishStar LT worth repairing?
Usually yes, since the mechanical parts are simple. You get a written price first, and we say plainly if a repair is not worth it.
