Grindmaster Coffee Brewer Repair
We repair Grindmaster Grind'n Brew brewers, from the current GNB models to the earlier 10, 11, 20 and 21 units, in Miami, Los Angeles, Houston, New York and San Diego. We read the Er message first and bring the parts for it.

Er1 water fill error
Er2 or Er3 thermistor error
Er4 heater not heating

Brew volume wrong
Grind’n Brew Models
The Grindmaster brewer we meet most often is the Grind’n Brew. The current GNB models, the GNB-10H, GNB-11H, GNB-20H and GNB-21H, pair a brewer with a built-in grinder and auger-fed bean hoppers. The earlier GM-B series 10, 11, 20 and 21 brewers are still in use in offices and shops, and we repair those too.
The GNB has a microprocessor with a programming interface, and brew volume is programmable. When something goes wrong, the brewer shows an Er message. Brewing is disabled while Er1 to Er4 is showing, though the grinder can still work. Er1 is a water fill error, so we check the supply, the fill valve and the water-full detection. Er2 and Er3 point to the thermistor, which may be open, shorted, or reading boiling water. Er4 means the heater ran for three minutes with no temperature change, so we test the heater and its circuit.
Other Things We Look At
If the basket light flashes after the basket is removed, the brewer is warning about hot water, and we make sure the basket seats properly. The default brew temperature is 195 degrees F and the setpoint can be changed, so we check what was programmed before we assume a part is bad.
When coffee will not grind or drop, we go to the auger and the hopper. Hard water leaves scale in the tank, and we descale as part of the repair when needed. On an older unit we say honestly when a repair is not worth it. We quote in writing first, and every repair has a 30-day warranty.

Grindmaster lines and model numbers we service
Current and older lines. Find the number on the data plate and open its series for the usual repairs.
My Grindmaster shows Er4. What is wrong?
The heater was on for three minutes and the water temperature did not change. We test the heater, the thermistor and the control circuit. Brewing stays off until it is fixed.
Can I still grind when the brewer shows an Er message?
On the GNB, brewing is disabled during Er1 to Er4, but grinding is still allowed. We still need to find the cause before the machine brews again.
Do you repair the older Grindmaster 10, 11, 20 and 21 brewers?
Yes. We service the earlier Grind'n Brew units along with the current GNB line. If a repair is not worth the cost, we tell you so before work begins.
