Champion Pot and Pan Washer Repair
We repair the Champion PP-11 PRO VHR pot, pan and utensil washer in Miami, Los Angeles, Houston, New York and San Diego, a door-type machine with ventless heat recovery. We check screens, heat and the door first, then quote the price in writing.
Common Champion pot & pan washers problems
In plain words, the way kitchen and laundry staff describe them when they call.
Strainers clog with heavy soil
Wash water too cool
Door does not seal
Machine will not start
The PP-11 PRO is a door-type pot, pan and utensil washer, and the VHR version uses ventless heat recovery, so it does not need a hood. Kitchens use it to scrub sheet pans, stockpots and utensils, and the heavy load of grease and food soil is what shortens its life.
Clogged strainers and screens are the most common problem we see, and they affect wash pressure and temperature. We check the screens, the wash arms and the pump, then the heater and the thermostat if the water stays cool. Moisture in a hot, humid kitchen works on door seals and wiring, so we look at those too. The machine needs a door that closes fully before a cycle will start.
Because a pot and pan washer works hardest on the dirtiest items in the kitchen, we also check the wash pump, the spray arms and the chemical feed for build-up. If the machine is older and the repair is not worth the cost, we tell you before we start. We give you a written price before work starts and back our repair with a 30-day warranty on our work.

Why is my Champion pot washer not cleaning well?
Clogged strainers and wash arms are the usual cause, and low water temperature adds to it. Clean the screens if it is safe to do so. If pots still come out dirty, call us and we test the pump and heat.
Does a Champion PP-11 VHR need a hood?
VHR stands for ventless heat recovery. The machine captures its own steam and heat, so it does not need a hood. If it stops heating, we test the heater and the control.
Can you repair a Champion pot washer that will not start?
Yes. A door that is not fully closed is the first thing to check. If the door is fine and the machine stays off, call us and we test the door switch and controls.
