Champion Commercial Dishwasher Repair
We repair Champion undercounter and door-type dish machines in Miami, Los Angeles, Houston, New York and San Diego, from the UH130B and UH330B to the DH6000 and older DH-1000 and UH-100 machines. We read the temperature display first and quote the price in writing.
Common Champion dish machines problems
In plain words, the way kitchen and laundry staff describe them when they call.
Wash display shows Lo
E in the wash or rinse display
Booster overtemp lockout
Tank empty indication with heater on
Chemical alarm on a low-temp model
Dishes not coming out clean
The UH130, UH230 and UH330B undercounters are high-temperature machines, and the B versions carry a built-in booster. The UL130 M4 is a low-temperature chemical machine. The M4 board has a slide switch for M3 or M4 operation, and the UH330B M4.2 adds condensate removal. Door-type DH3000, DH6000 and DH2000 machines follow the same wash-and-rinse logic at a larger size.
The display tells us a lot. The wash side normally sits between 100 and 180 degrees F, and the rinse side climbs up to 200 before it reads H HH. Lo means the water is under 100 degrees F. A dash display with the heater on means the tank is empty, and the tank may be extremely hot. We check the fill, the level circuit and the heater before touching anything else.
An E in either display means the thermistor, its wire or a loose connection. After a booster thermistor is reconnected, the display takes five seconds to come back. We repair older DH-1000, D-H1 and UH-100 machines too.

The control locks the booster out for ten minutes when its temperature passes 210 degrees F, then lets it restart. Turn the machine off and call us if it keeps happening, so we can test the thermistor and the heater.
What does H HH mean on my Champion display?
H HH means the wash water is above 180 degrees F or the rinse water is above 200 degrees F. Let the machine cool, then call us. We test the thermistor and the heater circuit.
Is the Champion DH2000 an older machine you still repair?
Yes. The DH2000 and DL2000 are door-type machines still working in many kitchens, and we repair them. Give us the model and what happens, and we tell you if a repair is worth the cost.
