The 2000 Series is a door-type line from Champion that many kitchens still use. The DH2000 is the high-temperature machine with a built-in electric booster, and the DL2000 is the low-temperature version. Look at the data plate for the model before you call.
On a DH2000 that rinses poorly, we start with the incoming hot water, then the electric booster and its element, since scale builds on it in water. We also check the tank heat, the wash arms and the door switch. On a DL2000 we look at the chemical feed instead of a booster.
These machines, old and new, are still in service, and we speak up when a repair is not worth the cost. We quote in writing before touching a part.

Look at the data plate. DH is the high-temperature model with the electric booster, and DL is the low-temperature chemical model. That decides what we test first.
Is the DH2000 booster hard to repair?
Not usually. Scale on the element is the common problem, and we test the booster before replacing anything. Our labor after a repair is guaranteed for 30 days.
Are older DH2000 machines worth repairing?
Often yes. Many DH2000 machines are still doing daily work. A repair that would not pay off is something we flag, and the cost is quoted before work begins.
