The UH130 family covers Champion’s current undercounter dishwashers: the UH130, UH130B, UH140B, UH130B-MAX, UH230, UH230B, UH330B, UH330-ADA and the low-temperature UL130. A B in the name means a built-in booster for the hot final rinse, and the UL130 sanitizes with chemicals instead. The model is on the data plate.
The digital temperature board is our best clue on a visit. Lo means the water is below 100F, H HH means it is above 180F on the wash or 200F on the rinse, and an E points to a thermistor, its wire or a loose connection. A tank-empty indication means the heater is on with no water, and the tank may be extremely hot, so switch the machine off first.
We check the water supply, the thermistors and the booster, and you get a written price before work.

What do Lo and H HH mean on the display?
Lo means the water is below 100F. H HH means it is above 180F on the wash display or above 200F on the rinse display. Each points us to the heater or a temperature probe.
Is the UL130 repaired the same way?
Many checks are the same, such as water, door and probes. The UL130 uses chemical sanitizing, so we also check the chemical canister and pump. Chemical pumps are never bypassed by us.
