Repairs this series usually needs
- Coin parts that stop counting correctly
- Fill error from restricted screens
- Water that will not leave the tub
- Washer that stops mid-cycle
- Card reader communication lost on MDC machines
SWT2 and SWT3 numbers make up this group of 36. SWT210*A1124 and SWT211*N3000 are examples of how they are written. Both prefixes are older top-load washers that were sold with coin or non-metered operation.
A washer that stops partway through a cycle can have a few causes, and we sort them in order: lid switch, then the drive and motor, then the control. Where a card reader is fitted to an MDC machine, loss of contact with the control shows up as a communication error, so the reader wiring gets a look too.
You find these washers where laundry has been done for years, apartment rooms and neighborhood shops. We fix older ones, put the cost on paper first, and back the work with 30 days of workmanship coverage.

Read the model number on the data plate. The characters after SWT show which group your washer is in, and we use the full number for parts.
My washer stops in the middle of the wash. What do you check?
We begin with the lid switch, then the motor and drive circuit, then the control. Water level and unbalance can also stop a cycle, so we check those as well.
Do you repair MDC machines with card readers?
Yes. On an MDC washer we check the reader, its link to the control and the washer itself. Loss of contact with the reader shows up as a communication code, which sends us to the wiring first.
