Speed Queen Coin-Operated Laundry Repair
We service Speed Queen coin, card and on-premise laundry machines for laundromats, apartment laundry rooms and dorms in Miami, Los Angeles, Houston, New York and San Diego. That covers the washers, the dryers and the payment systems on both.
Common Speed Queen coin & card laundry problems
In plain words, the way kitchen and laundry staff describe them when they call.
Coin drop rejects or jams
Card reader communication error
Break-in alarm and machine shuts off
Machine takes payment but will not start
Washer door code after payment
Dryer gives no time for coins
In a coin laundry the payment system fails more often than the machine itself. A coin drop that jams or rejects coins shows an Err code on the display, and we check the coin path, the pulse switch and the wiring. On the frontloaders, a card reader that loses communication shows an EC code, and we test the cable and the reader before the control.
The break-in alarm shows Alrn or OFF after a door or coin vault switch has been tampered with or has stopped working. We check the switch wiring and the control so the machine goes back into service.
If a machine takes payment and will not start, the door switch, the lock or the control may be the cause. We cover Quantum frontloaders and top-loaders, older coin-slide and coin-drop top-loaders, and the single and stacked dryers beside them.
Every idle machine costs you a customer, so we confirm parts by model number before we arrive. A written price comes first, and every job carries a 30-day warranty on our work.

It points to a coin problem, such as an invalid pulse or a coin drop that is not working. We check the coin path and switch wiring. Clearing a jam by hand is fine as long as the machine is off.
Can you fix card reader errors?
Yes. We check the cable, the reader and the control connection. A loose connector is one of the first things we test when communication drops, and we confirm the reader before we replace the control.
Our machine shows a break-in alarm. Is someone stealing?
Not necessarily. A door or coin vault switch that is out of adjustment can set it off. We inspect the switches and the control, and we point out anything that looks tampered with.
