Repairs this series usually needs
- Coin drop that gives no start
- Slow fill or a fill error
- Water left in the tub after the cycle
- Alarm after the door or coin vault switch is disturbed
- Washer that will not take new settings
The numbers in this group put a letter right after SWT, as in SWTX211*N and SWTB211*N, and they total 56. Older owners know them as the odd-letter washers because they do not follow the SWT1 or SWT2 pattern.
The control types are the same mix of timer, EDC, MDC and NetMaster, so we read the data plate first, then check the money circuit, then water in and water out. On machines with a break-in alarm, a loose door or coin vault switch can shut the washer down, and the fix is often as simple as the switch.
We quote in writing before the work, and a washer past a fair repair gets a frank answer from us.

It is part of the model number printed on the data plate. We use the whole number, letters and digits, to match the right parts to your washer.
My washer shows an alarm and shuts off. What is going on?
A break-in alarm can follow when the door or coin vault switch is disturbed. We check those switches and the wiring, then reset what needs resetting and explain what happened.
Can you program an older washer control?
Yes, where the control accepts it. Older EDC controls are set with a Micro-wand, and we check how the washer was set up, correct what is wrong and run a test cycle to confirm that the settings took.
