UniMac Commercial Washer Error Code E d 33: Start-Up Failure
E d 33 on a UniMac QN washer-extractor is a fatal start-up failure: the drive could not get the motor going when the cycle called for it. Switch the power off to clear the message, try one more start only, and call us if E d 33 is on the display again.
High: the motor cannot start, so the washer cannot run until the cause is found.
What does UniMac error code E d 33 mean?
At the start of a spin the drive has to take a stationary motor and bring it up to speed in a controlled way. E d 33 means it could not. The motor harness, the drum and the motor are the first suspects, and the drive board comes next. A harness connector that is loose or broken can stop power from reaching the motor. A drum or bearing so stiff that the motor cannot start will hold the motor still, and a motor that cannot begin turning when commanded will end the same way. The cycle stops at once and the code is held until power is cycled. Because this is a failure to start, rather than a failure while running, the problem is present from the first moment of the spin. If the motor never moves at all, check the connection before the drum.
