Repairs this series usually needs
- Float switch and water valve problems
- Freeze timer and harvest timer shutdowns
- Scale on the evaporator
- Condenser dirt and airflow
- Control board age and parts availability
This group covers older KM machines such as the KM-230B, KM-300B, KM-320MAH, KM-500MAH, KM-515MWH, KM-650MAH, KM-900MAH, KM-1100MAJ, KM-1340MWH and KM-61BWJ. They use earlier control boards than the current KM line, and the model number tells us which board you have.
Many of these units have been working for twenty years or so, and a lot of kitchens still depend on them. We repair them, but we are honest when board or sealed system costs are too high for the age of the machine.
Send us the full model number from the data plate. We start with water supply, scale, the float switch and the condenser. Parts and boards for the oldest units can take time to track down, and we say so up front.

Often yes. Water, scale, float switch and condenser problems are common and fixable. If the board or sealed system is the cause, we weigh the cost against the machine.
Do these use the same beeps as newer KMs?
Some do. The earlier boards differ, so we confirm the board from the model number and the lights before we say what an alarm means.
What do you need from me before the visit?
The full model number from the data plate, what the machine is doing and any lights or sounds. That lets us plan the visit and parts.
