The DCM line makes soft, chewable cubelet ice and dispenses it from the same cabinet. Models include the DCM-300BAH, DCM-500BAH, DCM-500BWH, DCM-751BAH, DCM-752BAH and the -OS versions with hands-free dispensing.
The beep alarms come at five-second intervals. Low water, high pressure and gear motor alarms are the common ones, and scale in the barrel or on the float switch is behind many of them.
We check the water supply and float switch first, then condenser airflow and the gear motor circuit. Because the dispenser is part of the cabinet, we also look at the chute and sensor if ice stops coming out. If ice has stopped flowing from the chute but the maker is running, tell us, because the dispenser sensor and chute are part of the same visit.

It is small, soft, chewable ice. A gear motor and auger form it inside a barrel, which is why scale and the gear motor are such common service topics.
What does the orange ALARM light mean?
On N-1 and later boards the orange ALARM light comes on along with the beep pattern. Tell us the light and beep count when you call.
Is the OS version different?
The OS models add hands-free dispensing. The ice maker is the same, but we also check the dispense sensor if ice does not come out.
