The UltraGold Jumbo is a jumbo-size gas fryer. Its model on the data plate reads F-ID-20×17. It is a gas fryer, so ignition and gas supply are always part of what we look at.

Why is my large fryer so slow to recover?
Soot on the heat exchanger, low gas pressure and a drifting probe are all common reasons. Each cause gets tested in turn, and you hear the cost before any work begins.
Is it safe to keep using a leaking drain?
No. A drain leak can spill hot oil on the floor. Switch the fryer off, let the oil cool completely and Never drain hot oil.
