Repairs this series usually needs

  1. Rinse not hot enough
  2. Booster scale
  3. Tank heat problems
  4. Door or fill problems
  5. Leaks at the door

The DynaTemp is an older Jackson door-type machine for high-temperature washing. Versions include the DynaTemp, the VER, the W/O with no booster and the STH with steam tank heat. The booster gives either a 40 or a 70F rise.

On a DynaTemp that is still in service, we start with the water: incoming temperature and supply, then the booster and its scale. We check the tank heat, the fill valve, the door seal and the wash arms. Water accelerates scale on boosters.

We confirm the version by the data plate. On an older unit we weigh the repair against what the machine is worth, and you hear the cost first. If you are not sure which version you have, read the plate or send us the letters after DynaTemp, and we confirm before we visit. Older door-type machines like this are common in small kitchens.

FAQOlder Jackson DynaTemp High-Temperature Door-Type Dishwashers questions
What does W/O mean on a DynaTemp?

It means the machine has no booster. It relies on the building water heater for rinse temperature, so that must be hot enough. Check the plate for W/O to be sure.

Do you repair the STH steam version?

Yes. We test the steam tank heat and the rest of the machine. You get a written price first. You hear the cost first, and our labor is guaranteed for 30 days.

Are older DynaTemp machines worth repairing?

Often. Many are still working well. Some older units are better replaced, and we tell you when that is so. Parts for older units are confirmed before the visit.
