The Varimixer ERGO series has the ERGO60, ERGO100, ERGO140 and ERGO150, floor planetary mixers with a touch display and a frequency inverter. The model number is on the data plate, and the display gives us a code list to work from.
When an ERGO stops, we start with the code on the screen. Codes 01, 02 and 03 relate to bowl position, guard and bowl detection. EE codes cover temperature, voltage and the inverter, and OL codes cover overload. We also check the lift buttons, since both must be pressed within a second of each other.
Because the ERGO reports its own codes, we ask you to write down the code and what the mixer was doing before you call. A written price comes first, and a drive repair that is not worth making on an older mixer gets a plain answer.

Which ERGO sizes do you service?
The ERGO60, ERGO100, ERGO140 and ERGO150. Code lists can differ by size, so we read the code on your machine and confirm what it means for your model.
What is the frequency inverter?
It is the electronic drive that controls the main motor. Codes EE:06 and EE:07 relate to it, and they call for a technician rather than an owner fix.
Do code lists differ between ERGO sizes?
They can. The code table we work from covers the ERGO100 and ERGO150, and other sizes may differ, so we read the code on your machine before we say what it means.
