The Classe 9 is Rancilio’s multi-group machine in two, three and four group sizes, with an optional iSteam. The USB version prints a list of errors in its owner’s manual, using the same descriptions as the Classe 11 but a different numbering order. A boiler filling time-out, for example, sits near E04 on the Classe 9 list.
That difference matters. We read the code against the Classe 9 list before diagnosing, so a number is not matched to the wrong part. Water, flowmeters and group circuits are the usual causes.

Why do Classe 9 codes differ from the Classe 11?
The Classe 9 USB prints the same descriptions, but in a different numbering order. Use the list for your own model, and tell us the code and model when you call.
What is the iSteam option?
It is an option for steaming on the Classe 9. If a short circuit message mentions general functions, the iSteam circuit is one thing we test.
Can you service four group Classe 9 machines?
Yes. We check each group, the flowmeters and the boiler. Tell us the number of groups and the version, S or USB, when you call.
